Information we collect
When you enquire, plan a safari with us, or make a booking, we may collect: your name, email address, and phone number; travel preferences, dates, and destinations; details of who is travelling, including the ages of children where relevant; passport, visa, and other travel document details needed to arrange your trip; payment details necessary to process bookings, handled through our secure payment provider; and correspondence between you and our team.

If you sign up to our newsletter, we collect your email address for that purpose only.

How we use your information
We use your information to plan and book your travel arrangements, communicate with you about your enquiry or booking, process payments, share necessary details with the lodges, airlines, ground operators, and other suppliers required to deliver your trip, meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, and, where you have opted in, send you travel-related news and offers.

Sharing your information
Because we arrange travel across international borders, your information will necessarily be shared with the suppliers, lodges, airlines, transport providers, and border or immigration authorities involved in your trip. We do not sell your personal information, and we only share it with third parties where necessary to deliver the service you have asked us for, or where required by law.

International transfers
As a safari and travel planning company, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside South Africa, wherever your itinerary takes you. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled securely by the parties involved.

Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil your booking, meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations, and resolve any disputes, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.

Our website uses cookies to support core functionality and to understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Your rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to delete it or stop processing it, where we are not legally required to keep it, and object to direct marketing at any time. Children's information
Where a booking includes children, we collect only the information necessary for travel and legal requirements (such as ages and, where relevant, birth certificate details), provided by the travelling parent or guardian.
